Jensen Associates, Inc.

Jensen Associates was incorporated in 1990 to bring skilled and experienced representation and advocacy to organizations with public policy interests before the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature and/or the Executive Branch of Nebraska State Government. Since its founding, the firm has become a major presence providing services to an array of health and human services organizations, as well as private business interests. Services provided by the firm include lobbying, monitoring activities within the legislative and executive branches, consultation in public affairs, and association management.

Legislative Relations
Jensen Associates provides clients with an ongoing presence at the Nebraska Legislature. Mr. Jensen prepares legislation for introduction, secures the introducer(s) for the legislation, presents or assists with the presentation of public hearing testimony, and works individually with lawmakers to garner support (or opposition) to pending legislation. In addition, Mr. Jensen assists clients with mobilizing their own constituent contacts with members of the Legislature to advance their particular interests. Legislation of interest is tracked daily during the session, and each client receives a weekly report of activities and the status of bills impacting them, as well as on the spot notification of developments of particular interest and/or those requiring immediate action.

Association Management
Jensen Associates’ association management practice was established quite literally at the request of clients. Through a contractual arrangement with Jensen Associates, organizations which have active legislative interests, but are not able to fund a full-time staff component, can benefit from a headquarters office and skilled professional management of their activities. Jensen Associates provides financial management, arranges meetings and conferences, publishes newsletters and special bulletins, and undertakes membership development.
