The first special session of the 102nd Nebraska Legislature will convene, subject to the Governor's call, at 2:00 p.m., November 1, 2011.  The only subject which the senators will consider...as spelled out in the gubernatorial proclamation, will be state regulation of oil pipelines.

A letter to members from Senator Mike Flood, Speaker of the Legislature, outlines the expected schedule through the first ten days and suggests that senators be prepared to remain in session until Thanksgiving or possibly beyond.

The second regular session of the 102nd Nebraska Legislature continues to be scheduled to convene, as provided in the state constitution, on January 4, 2012.
